Terms of Service

Last updated 9 August 2026

These terms govern your use of PRminded. Please read them. By creating an account you agree to them in full.

1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account, accessing or using PRminded you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are agreeing on behalf of an agency or newsroom, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Who can use PRminded

PRminded is a professional platform, not a consumer social network.

  • You must be at least 18 years old and using the platform in a professional capacity.
  • One person, one account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
  • Every account has exactly one role: journalist or PR professional. The two are mutually exclusive and the role cannot be toggled. Editorial capabilities may be added to a journalist account, but they do not change that primary role.
  • We may refuse, suspend or close an account that does not meet these conditions.

3. Accounts and verification

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you put on your profile and for keeping your credentials secure. Journalist verification involves confirming a newsroom email domain, reviewing published work and a manual editorial check. Verification is a judgement we make in good faith on the information available. It is not a guarantee about any individual, and we may withhold, pause or revoke a verified badge if information turns out to be inaccurate or circumstances change. Tell us promptly if you change outlet, beat or role.

4. If you are a journalist

Your account is free. You control the beats, cities and topics you will and will not accept pitches on, and pitches outside those settings are filtered before they reach you. You are under no obligation to read, respond to, accept or write about any pitch. Accepting a pitch opens a conversation and nothing more. It is not a commitment to publish, and no payment or benefit may be sought or accepted in exchange for coverage through this platform.

5. If you are a PR professional

Access to pitching is a paid subscription with usage quotas set out at the point of purchase. You must accurately identify yourself and the client or organisation you represent, and you must not send anything you know to be false or misleading. You are solely responsible for the content of your pitches and press releases and for holding the rights to any material you attach.

6. Acceptable use

The value of PRminded depends on it not becoming another spam channel. You must not:

  • Extract, scrape, export or resell journalist contact details, profiles or any part of the platform's data.
  • Route around the matching system to contact journalists in bulk, or use the platform to build a mailing list for use elsewhere.
  • Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your relationship with a client.
  • Post or send unlawful, defamatory, infringing, deceptive or harassing content.
  • Offer payment or other inducement in exchange for editorial coverage.
  • Probe, reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the platform, or attempt to access data that is not yours.
  • Use automated tools to create accounts or send pitches, except through an interface we provide for that purpose.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you create on PRminded: your pitches, releases, drafts, posts and messages. To operate the platform you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit and display that content for the purpose of providing the service to you and to the recipients you choose. The licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for copies we must retain in backups or legal records for a limited period.

8. AI-assisted content

PRminded uses AI to help you draft pitches, rewrite copy in AP style and rank matches. Everything it produces is a suggestion returned to you as an editable draft. The platform will never send a pitch, file a story or publish on your behalf. A person always presses send. AI output can be wrong, and you remain fully responsible for verifying facts, figures, quotes and claims in anything you send. Match scores are an estimate of relevance, not a prediction of coverage.

9. Subscriptions, billing and VAT

Paid plans renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. Fees are stated exclusive of tax and UAE VAT is added where applicable. You can cancel at any time and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate refunds for a partial period unless the law requires it. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before it applies to your next renewal. Unpaid accounts may be downgraded or suspended.

10. Our intellectual property

The platform itself (the software, matching system, design, brand and documentation) belongs to PRminded and is protected by intellectual property law. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use it as intended, and nothing more. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from any part of it.

11. Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep PRminded available and accurate, but the platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change or discontinue features. In particular, we make no promise that any pitch will be read, accepted, replied to or result in coverage, and no promise about the conduct of any other user.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PRminded is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost business, lost coverage or lost goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the platform is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.

13. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access (with notice where practical, immediately where it is not) if you breach these terms, if your account creates risk for other users, or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including content licences already granted, liability limits and governing law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. We would much rather resolve things directly first. Email us before filing anything.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. The date at the top reflects the current version, and we will give notice in the app or by email before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use PRminded after that point means you accept the updated terms.

16. Contact
